About CSEEC

Four BC offshore high schools in Shandong and a sister school in Vancouver.

We operate four British Columbia offshore high schools in Shandong Province, China, and a sister school in British Columbia, Canada. All our schools pass the annual BC Ministry of Education inspection. Our schools are in or near Qingdao, Yantai, Tai'an and Weifang. Each city has its own personality, but they share a lot: they are extremely safe, inexpensive, easy to get around and welcoming to people from other countries.

CSEEC is based in Yantai, Shandong Province, and has been in operation for more than 20 years under CEO Mr. John Zhu. It opened its first BC-certified school in China in 2008. Our schools are known for high graduation rates and for staff who are appreciated and well supported, and they have earned recognition from Canadian universities for the quality of their graduates.

Mission statement

The CSEEC District of Schools strives to provide the best possible English-based instruction in our schools in Qingdao, Tai'an, Weifang and Yantai. Students in our care are taught the British Columbia curriculum mandated by the Ministry of Education and Child Care.

Our mission is to offer a culturally enhanced and academically enriched environment that empowers students to meet the requirements for the British Columbia Dogwood graduation certificate. The Dogwood certificate is recognized by top universities around the world, opening doors to leading English-speaking universities.
