British Columbia's offshore school program allows schools outside Canada to offer the BC curriculum and the Dogwood Diploma. Every school in the program is certified by the BC Ministry of Education and Child Care.
What certification requires
- Courses taught in English that follow the BC curriculum
- Teachers who hold BC teaching certification
- A principal who is certified to BC standards
- Facilities and resources that support the program
Regular inspections
Certified offshore schools are inspected by the Ministry to make sure they continue to meet BC standards. Inspection reports for our schools are available on each school page.
