Located in the Huangdao District, approximately one hour from Qingdao, CQSS is nestled in a beautiful campus that was built in 2016. Staff live about a half an hour away and are provided with a free shuttle to the school each workday. Staff accommodations are located within a ten-minute walk to Gangdao Bay in an area with many restaurants, malls and all the modern amenities one could wish for. Furthermore, staff live approximately thirty-five minutes from downtown Qingdao – one of China’s most vibrant coastal cities and home to the 2008 Olympic sailing events.  

Classrooms come equipped with easy-to-use smart boards, wi-fi accessibility, and modern lighting. There is a library, science labs, computer labs, art rooms, a gym and hiking trails on the campus. The cafeteria provides healthy lunches on a daily basis. The portion sizes are very generous and cost around two dollars/day.
